Employers can use its service to initiate the application procedure for a residence permit before the new employee has even arrived in the Netherlands. Once here, that just leaves the highly skilled migrant a single trip to the Expatcenter to pick up a residence card and finalise the registration process. The cities of Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Almere and Haarlemmermeer are working with the Immigration and Naturalisation Services (IND) to bring the Expatcenter’s services free of charge. What’s more, The Expatcenter’s website (www.iamsterdam.com/living) offers a wealth of news, features and useful information for expats. With pages on the popular social media networks Facebook and Twitter, as well as a newly developed mobile city guide, I amsterdam and the Expatcenter are no more than a few clicks away! Expat Desk RotterdamVisiting adress: Two years ago the Expatdesk Rotterdam started as a one stop shop for Expats and their families. Our focus is to facilitate both employers and expats. We provide practical information on a wide variety of topics. Not only for newly arrived but also for those who have been in Rotterdam for some time. Our personal approach consists of services like finding you a house or a school, helping with the application for the visa and residence permits, translating Dutch documents, informing you about the healthcare system etc. Our cooperation with the immigration service enables you to obtain a residence permit within twelve working days! With our extensive network in the Rotterdam region we have great access to the service you need. We are located at the World Trade Center in the center of Rotterdam. Expat Information Services CenterWorld Trade Center Almere Area The EISC is a full-service center which serves as a single point of contact providing information and services for highly qualified knowledge workers expats who plan to settle in the region or are considering doing so. It also provides services to foreign companies, entrepreneurs and HR managers. These activities center on services for expats in order to familiarize them with the Almere area and on creating an expat community to help them feel at home in our region. The center provides information on government services (including permits), personal services (such as housing) and business services (including temporary office space). The WTCAA also organizes informative meetings and social events just for expats and their partners. The Hague International Centre for expats and international visitorsVisiting adress: The Hague International Centre is a joint initiative between the Municipality of The Hague, the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) and ACCESS. It is the first point of contact for (new) residents of The Hague and has been created especially for the expatriate (and their families) who is working and living in The Hague. The Expatservice also offers an expedited service for highly-skilled migrants who are registered with the IND. These migrants can make an appointment themselves or through their employers for faster registration in the municipal database in order to receive a Burgerservicenummer (BSN). This accelerated service allows expat employees to faster start their work. Expat Centre LeidenStationsweg 41 Welcome to Leiden:The Leiden area is a booming knowledge region. It is home to the Leiden University, the Leiden Bio Science Park, the aerospace cluster, the floral industry and the international institutes in The Hague.
